Da Nang International Airport is one of the few airports in Vietnam that sits almost inside the city. Terminal 1 handles domestic flights and Terminal 2 handles international flights; both are a short drive from the Han River, the beachfront hotels along Vo Nguyen Giap street and the road south to Hoi An. Because the distance is short, the main things that make an arrival smooth are a driver who is already waiting, a car big enough for your luggage and a fixed price agreed in advance.

The most popular airport transfer. The coastal road passes the Marble Mountains and reaches Hoi An in roughly 40–50 minutes. Cars cannot drive into the pedestrian core of the old town, so we drop you at your hotel or at the closest point allowed.

Straight to Ba Na Hills or Hue
Arriving on an early flight? You can go directly to Ba Na Hills (about 40 minutes) or start the trip north to Hue over the Hai Van Pass. Ask us to combine the airport pick-up with your first day trip.

Which vehicle fits your group

Luggage, not passengers, usually decides the vehicle at the airport. The 4-seat sedan (Mazda 3 or similar) is comfortable for one to three people with two large suitcases. Families of four to six, or couples with golf bags or several big cases, are better off in the 7-seat MPV (Mitsubishi Xpander or Kia Carnival).

For groups of seven or more, or teams travelling with a lot of equipment, the 16-seat Ford Transit or DCAR limousine keeps everyone in one vehicle. If you are unsure, tell us the number of people and bags in the booking form and we will suggest the right car.

Tips for a smooth airport pick-up

Put your flight number in the booking form so the driver can follow the real arrival time.

International arrivals often take 30–60 minutes to clear immigration and collect bags; there is no need to rush.
